So given I would be moving out of Admiralty I had a lemming to try The Continental brunch. I do love the setting, the atmosphere hmmm but truly more improvement on the service are needed.
When you see a glassbox above Pacific Place, it is a mysterious place where I often wanna try. I did had business lunch there before but never weekend cozy brunch. I went over this Sunday and there are already 3 tables having Christmas celebration, kriskringle and all.
As I reinforced on the phone for a brunch booking, the operator forgot to mention to me that The Saturday Set is not available on Saturday - well I know it said it so but it may be a "name" in itself, when I asked the waiter...............he took a minute to let me know only the Sunday Set is available.
Yes I do wana add patisserie.....to my brunch yesterday. But anywho....
As for most, I would took the time to notice the atmosphere, especially when you are waiting for someone to join your brunch. This little detail is my fav and it does a special touch to the surrounding.
The ceiling is a little added detail that I bet the designer had really thought out...............the feeling like mine.........when we are waiting ....tick tok tick tok!
I am so bad in prepping this at home and so I ordered something many find too easy to do. Egg and avocado on toast.......its really nice.
This Kedgree dish with red lentil, egg, salmon.......with a little hint of curry it does wake up my day.
So a little joke happened while ordering our coffee, my friend would like an americano and I would like black coffee......I dunno which is which nationality but I got a response if black coffee means americano...........I do not wish to google much but my friend did and it seems there a slight difference anywho who wish to argue about on a slow sunday.
I love the food, the place and the sun really. I would come back on a Saturday next time.
