We are coming to the end of 2014, no matter whether you are busy working closing all loose ends before Christmas or doodling somewhere around the globe, we should be thankful for all the things we have today!
Why I am saying this is because....at last Occupy Central ended and we are able to start our Christmas list shopping, as well as is pretty cold in Hong Kong and who would want people to gather outside in the cold - we are still humans after all...............and perhaps this little book helped me to phased out from a little disaster happened recently plus a little relaxation in Thai! (I do wanna share a little review on my Thai trip but I would hope to do all the photo op and drafting work during Christmas, so keep watching out this space!!!)
I do not wish to narrow down in detail what is exactly the little disaster happened, I can only say things happen for some reasons, whether it is good or bad, we will need to deal with it like a responsible adults. When things go down, I just realised you got all your friends and parents, the close ones, to help you, and I am truly grateful for all. We would never be able to value the good unless the bad happened right? Just like a good view like this!
Christmas always reminds me of home, do you feel the same?! Another thing I wish to mention is, I would think my blog is now officially ONE YEAR OLD - this month.........I think!
A few pointers from the book that helps me would be:
- Social Investment - invest time into your friendship circle as they will definitely save you when you are falling.
- Positive Tetris Effect - the book illustrated examples like after you playing certain computer game you will adopt certain habits, like tetris or GTA...........while these are negative habits to look for a car to steal we should adopt positive tetris effect, like finetuning our habits......to a run a day, eat healthy and read more often.
For Chinese, it is a day of winter solstice today where chinese families gathers for a good meal and I am cooking tonight!
