Bookies: The Seven Minute Difference by Allyson Lewis

    September 29, 2014

Oh my gawd!  I thought I had saved my draft and end up is not here, it is not the first time but........okay that's life and we all have to accept it.  I hope everyone is very much safe and sound after all the occupy central mess which had been going on over the weekend till today and it is still going on on on.

With all the potical mess, I still decide to post this book review for those we would like to change their lives today, tomorrow and the days beyond!

This book The Seven Minute Difference: Small Steps to Big Changes by Allyson Lewis, is a wake up call for me.  I spotted the Chinese version at a bookshop and decided to look for the original English version.  The below quote striked me on the spot,

Time is free, but it's priceless

You can't own it, but you can use it.

You can't keep it, but you can spend it.

Once you've lost it, you can never get it back...... by Harvey Mackay

The book stresses a few things, first, change begins to happen the moment you decide to change; you must want change; you must accept change; you should enjoy the process of change - this is the few elements you will need before you get CHANGE!

On my personal theory, I know I wanted change but when the opportunity strikes, I feel I wanna hide.  Yes, it is a push and pull issue.  Things you want so bad and it arrived but you freaked out............hmmm thats me right now.  I guess is the exact feeling when you know you need to go to work after the political stance in Central where all transportation are cancelled, but you still need pull yourself together to work.........well we are just talking about work, not life right?

I just want to share with all of you, yes I wanted change!  You kinda need a clear vision in life, in order to notice what kind of change you will need.  I do not have a clear vision now.  Is this really what I want?  Is this my passion?  Am I really good at this?  I think I am experiencing self doubt..........but you really cannot tell you are good.........you need recognition.....you will need someone to tell you you are good.

This book does stike some magic for me and I hope it does the same for you.  I am striking change and I want it now!
