I had this adrenaline to get LIPSTICK QUEEN for a few weeks already. I was never a lipstick frenzy until now. You know the drill, you spot something you want, you Google, you locate and you BUY! I believe most of you share the same process as me and I do not feel anything special or crazy about it. It is just a matter of time you need to get that NEED out of the system and press next!
For the brand LIPSTICK QUEEN, I had only know after reading blogs who covered this lovely brand! With some dedication, I finally located one store that stock them in Hong Kong! With some courage I stepped in and tried them, you know the feeling even you swatched it on your hands it still seem unreal, it is only until the moment you own it and you can play around with it at home. I have to be honest, I usually go for more nude type colours. In order to really prove you own Lipstick Queen of course you need to get the bright colours. Okay it does seems odd to me at first since I got really plum and big lips..............and with bright red it just make it so visible to the rest of the face - you get me?
Anywho, I am really loving this Endless Summer range from Lipstick Queen, this Aloha shade had made my week! Essentially I would go for a pinky tone, less subtle like the shade stoked but I thought I would be brave and try this. This is more of a pink orange tone and works pretty well on my lips. It is very sheer, moisturising as well as gives a pop of colour! I do recommend ladies to try this! I am loving it! I am now more comfortable in wearing the bright range and really feel glammed up after these lustrous lippys!
The other Lipstick Queen I got is from the China Town range, in the shade Crime. It is a glossy pencil that also gives a pop colour. Again is something out of the blue that I tried. I do luv this very much but I had not heavily used this as yet. The tone is more of a fusia tone that I luv and you really need to compliment the entire look and outfit for this lipstick. I luv the fact it is a glossy pencil which is not something I had at home! The brand is so cozy that it comes with a sharpener for you to sharpen the lip when you had wear it down. It is very caring in deed!
The third product which I really had no plans to try or buy but I somehow got sold to it after talking to the sales at Joyce Beauty for the Lipstick Queen products, is the Eyeko range. I have heard a lot of wonders of this brand. This taupe Me and My Shadow is the best thing if for travelling or for a busy day. It is an up and go product with no hassle at all. Thought I would still apply some form of base before using this taupe shades so it sits well during the day. This eyeshadow pen comes with a brush tip on the other end so it is very handy to blend it out when you have nothing else but this pen! I do luv this taupe shade, it is very much buildable. I am very much open to trying Eyeko mascara and eyeliner next!
Of course I save this swatched photo for you, the first one from top is Aloha, second is Crime and last is Taupe.
All these products are purchased by the owner of this blog, which is me, without sponsors or monetary return by all the brands mentioned. I was guided by the sales representative from Joyce Beauty located at Hysan Hong Kong for all these beauty decisions and was really grateful in the care and excellent service in selecting the above products. I hope you would like them too!
