Hello all, how are you enjoying September? I think I have a confession to make.......I did splurge quite a bit in over August......!
So if you follow my instagram, you would have already know that my iHerb purchase had arrived. I have heard loads about iHerb and this is my first order, I am very much amazed at so many organic products that they carry. My intention on visiting iHerb, was really chasing after theMrs. Meyers Clean Day, All Purpose Cleaner with Lavender sent. I happen to be a follower of Essie Button's blog and she had actually mentioned how good this is. With HK's hot and humid weather I have the problem of having a lot of mites on the desks of my home, whether is dining table, work desk or the make up chest......it is so mighty serious. I was hoping this could help to save my world with the scent and the natural ingredients. I have to say is pretty good in itself, it is a concentrated solution so it is directed to be diluted with warm water before use. I am satisfy with the scent and the cleaniness but for difficult patch I need to use the old harsh kitchen products. This pretty much good for everyday cleaning. I recently discovered this is also on sale at HK supermarket chain also.
Next I have to recommend is the Aztec Secret, Indian Healing Clay and Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. Apparently these are the hot items people order from iHerb and I followed! With HK it is a bit difficult to find all these natural products and I would rather visit IHerb to get everything ranging from organic coconut oil to real technique make up brush!!! So what is so special about the clay and apple cider. I got this with an aim to clean my pores! I have read so many homemade recipes and it does work wonders. First with the clay, I thought it comes with a moist clay pack...but to my surprise it was actually clay powder. I used a spoonful of powder mix with apple cider and water, place it on my clean washed face and last for about 5mins. It helps to cleanse and close the pores. I had already tried using it twice a week. Plus I also use diluted vinegar for hair rinse - I am going all natural HAHA!
I think I would sums up the highlight of my iHerb haul for now! Next is a beauty haul YAY!
My order from the last Tarte 30% off sale had arrived. I think it took too long with the redirect mail from US to HK so I kind of forgot what I got! I have to get an extra Amazonian clay 12 hour full coverage foundation as the last one I got was from the set. Of course it is so amazing that I need to get one real size. I got the ivory tone which I hope is not too light on me.......fingers crossed! I also got the BB tinted moisturizer with SPF 20 which I dive in straightaway. I have tried using it with or without primer and it is amazing. If you had not known me that well....I am a super lazy girl and had been a fan with the Nars tinted moisturiser until lately I am discovering other brands given the tube is used up pretty soon! I also got the Maracuja Creaseless Concealer, I was going to give to my mom to try since shes a great fan of concealers. On the honest end, I think my evil soul actually wants it too! I have also added the well known Amzaonian 12 hr blush in peaceful - I am more of a girl to go for pink tone, but since I got too much pink tones at home, I thought I might as well get a nude peach to add to my collection. Tarte's blushes are trully amazing! Tarte is currently doing another sale offer, please do check it out before their stock runs out!
Next is I was so tempted and was in the same dilemma to choose between Naked Eye Palette 1 or 2.......! I have already own the latest Naked Eye Palette 3 - the previously I picked from 3, now down to 2. Anywho which much luck I choose the Naked Eye Palette 2 as I think it is more suited for Asian skintone. This is not in my plan to get a second Urban Decay palette and the reason why I did is because I saw it was on sale on BeautyBay. The sale would not be as deep as US websites since BeautyBay does ship internationally. I thought it would be handy and hardly these palettes would go on sale right? RIGHT!
Jewellery - hmmmm I think I have sinned! I went to the Carat storehouse sale and got myself a few blings. There are so many people picking these beautiful jewellery! I aim for the traditional diamond studds but was not able to find anything suitable. So I am out the door with pink gem earrings, matching pink gem ring and a ruby ring! Did anyone of you went to Carat sale???? Let me know!
So I got this mixed chain stone bracelet from French Connection via ASOS. If you had not realised I am a huge ASOS fans. I did make other purchase this month but do not want to bore you with the details. This bracelet had been on my wishlist for very long time and I never knew French Connection made such great jewellery. While it finally went on sale I have to get it, it was HKD1xx down from HKD5xx. I always prefer Tbar fastening, but most that I own they only got one hoop, this one with three - it is really designed for any ladies. It matches with anything and it is a must wear item for me this week! I luv this.
Okay, I think I will end this soo with the last point out the Deer Jewellery Holder, I got this at Franc Franc moving sale. I was eyeing for a tea set and a bowl that I need to replace but I saw this lovely deer which sits pretty well on my desk! wink wink wink!
I hope you like this so far.
