This will form a 3 part series or more, on this lovely natural brand from New Zealand - Antipodes. I believe I did share in my previous hauls on purchasing a few of their items and I have decided I wanted to share a more all rounded approach, starting from their cleanser.
A little bit of luv to the brand, it all began from Wellington, New Zealand with the aim to deliver scientific verified organic products to all of us! With relevance to my previous posts on healthy and beauty, I do care a lot of what I am using and definitely do not wish to be applying anything similar to the chemicals that exist in our kitchen cleaning products.
When I first tried Antipodes, I was less concern about what I was using until a few books that I was reading and therefore only realised by now they are very much dermatologically proven with certificates certifying they are organic etc etc.
I wish to start from the beginning of all skin preparation which is also the most important part - cleansing, Antipodes have got a few different cleansing products. This Grace Gentle Cream Cleanser is the first one that I have tried and after the first use, I am already in luv with this and pretty much hooked.
This is very much the first time I used a "cream" cleanser. It is just a creamy white paste with a very divine fresh smell along with avocado oil and marigold flowers, just to name a few ingredients. I feel like washing my face with fresh milk. It is particularly aim for sensitive skin and its anti-inflammatory.
If you do not know me well enough, I am typical Asian with very sensitive skin, it seems the face tissue is a bit thin and it always look red and a bit sensitive - which I do get questioned a lot when I go to facial counters.
So after applying the cream on the face in circular motions and washed off with water, it does leave me with very soft and supple skin. My skin does not feel dry or irritate, it is so calm that I could just spray facial mist over it and pop some moisturiser and sunscreen is already enough.
As you can see I was trying this sample size sachet which I am going to save for travelling use. I am already prepared to get the real size product. While I am testing out other great products from Antipodes, please keep a watch out at this space for the next series very soon!
