Hello how are we all after the brilliant weekend? So today is gonna be a little something something I wanted to share, its movie, its tea, footbath and food........this is what I have done during the weekend.
So I finally get to see the Fault in our Stars not that I have read the book. I am not going to go over what it is about given I would think most already know. I am not really a fan of sad movies about cancers but this really touched me in some ways. It is not just a movie about cancer but really about teenage lovers and how people move on. It does remind us to cherish what we have now, love those we cared and to find strength when we missed someone. I guess for now I would just like to get a book just to read in detail of everything. Since I am a Divergent fan as well, why would I miss such a movie!
After watching this movie, I had dusted the old laptop and try to watch some of the old movies that I like, it was like oh did I like that before? hmmmmm did I save that for some reasons........it is just like finding an old self hiding somewhere.
OK, move on from the movies. I got these cute little tealeaves strainer from IKEA and it looks good and convenient when you are drink tea leaves. I am a strong tea person and so I have to get them. They are like flowers that float in the hot water. I luv them so much! It is like sunshine for the day! You just need to add tea leaves and dunk in hot water then you are ready to go. It is about HKD30 for 2. If you are a tea lover, I do strongly recommend you get them!
Next is the lovely footbath!!! I had been having problems to sleep the past week and decided to use these lovely Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Sea Foam Foot Soak. I think we just need to pamper ourselves a little here and there. Of course a little salt and hot water would do good once in a while. What can I say about this particular foot soak? It is more the scent it left you with after the foot bath, and you feel very much at peace while you sleep. With one satchet,, I can use it over 2 nights and it is around HKD195 for 5 satchets.
On the health benefits side, I cooked myself a little lentil soup with quinoa, hoping the fibre will do great things for my skin and body!
