Brows Brows Brows!
July 3, 2014

Hi all how are we doing nearly the end of the week! Hope we are all happy & chippy today!
I hope to share my brow tricks with you today!
I recall I use to pluck my brows only in Year 11 or 12 before going to our formal or prom. I never really did my brows until I am working in Hong Kong. I guess when we are young we are beautiful in many ways. Somehow as we grow older we find all these new things to use haha!
So my first good brow set was from Nars and I had been keeping it till now. Back then Nars approach is very simple, just a brush and a eye colour in Bali and it could help me with a very natural brow.
**Brush: #2 Nars Brush - think it is outdated with the new brush collection - Push Eyliner #46 should do the trick. It is an eyeliner brush but can be used as an eyebrow brush as well I had always been using as an eyebrow brush and still loving it very much!
I think I use to have a fuller brow which does not need much care of, as time goes, I find my front end of the brows are more sparse so the trick is to get it the same as the rest of the brows without looking too overdone.
I also got the CLIO waterproof Eyebrow Auto Pencil and had been kept in my drawers until a few days ago I was washing all my brushes and I thought I should give it a try. I think I got it for my mom and she decided to stick with what she got so.....I am left with this. It is a dual pencil with one end where you could slide the eyebrow pencil out and the other side comes with a brow brush. On first try is a bit dried so I need to swatchit abit to make it a better. I used the shade dark brown no.1 and is a more darkish brown close to my hair. It is very easy to apply once you have worked the pencil, if you go stroke by stroke you can get a softer touch on your brows. The one good thing with this pencil is it is a bit waxy so it gives the brow some colour and definition as well as keeping the brows neat and tidy - so as a lazy person like me I do not have to use a brow gel on top - which I hardly does even with the Nars approach. I do recommend this for travelling and people who do not spend too much time in the morning before work, it is a one tool does it all. I got it from drugstore, Watson for less than HKD 100, and it is such a convenient buy!
I would also go over this Nars Brow Pencil I got for my mom. It is in the shade Panema, this is the older version of Nars brow pencil which they did have a later brow product which I would go over next. It is more of a pencil that I would use for outlining.
Another latest Nars Eyebrow Perfector is the best one which I already gave it to my mom and she luved it very much. We got in the shade of caucase. It is very similar to CLIO that it is adjustrable and very versitile for the brows whether is feathering in or outlining. I do not have an image but this is the latest that you may find its good for you.
On a daily basis I still go for the Nars eyeshadow Bali with No.2 push eyeliner brush.....for a natural everyday look.
Hope you like this!
