Not sure if you can tell, the lazy mode continues through out the week! I am at home with my glasses on and minimal make up today! Of course I had not forgotten about all of you.
I think is about time to share my blush collection today. I happen to left out Tarte blush when taking a photo so I would be doing a separate piece just on Tarte blush since it would too much to have more than 6 blushes all in the photos or text. So Tarte fans will need to wait.
As you can see, I am very much a Nars crazy fans when it come to blushes, my first Nars blush is of course the Orgasm shade - its just the one to have always. I have actually gave it to my mom, you know saving the best for your loved ones - therefore is no longer in my collection. So I will start from top to bottom and from left to right.
Left row - top to bottom:
Nars - Miss Liberty
I got this while on one of those Nars events where the well known make artist from abroad would come to give you a makeover for HKD3xx where you could redeem products as well. It is more of a champaigne colour with glitter. It is the first swatch on the 3rd pic there, it serves best as a nude highlighter. When I swatch the product, this is the most creamy and soft of all Nars blushes.
Nars - Douceur
This the third Nars blush I got from Nars make up events as well. It is a more neutral tone and matches very well along my Nars bronzer. This is the 2nd swatch on the 3rd pic. I am not sure if you could tell but this is my most used blush, it is good for everyday use especially when you want to create a natural look for work etc.
Nars - Deep throat
I am not so sure why I stacked up so many blushes, but here it is, this is the second most popular shade next to Orgasm, pinky tone with slight glitter. The product is a bit hard to swatch some how and is the last swatch on the 3rd pic, it needs a few rubbing in order to make more colour show on my skin. This is the hardest of all, more of a rough texture, not sure if my blush had dried up though. I hardly use this, I think I used this quite often after giving up my Orgasm one to my mom but then it has been stored in my drawer as it is a bit too pinkish for everyday.
Right row - top to bottowm:
Bourjois - 48 Cendre de Rose Brune
I have always know about Bourjois but only recently relised on its old history and their blushes. I got this just wish to compare with Chanel's brush since it seems coming from they are made in the same factories in France. It is the most pigmented of all and when you swatched it, on first try you can get a lot of product on your hand. The swatch is the the first on the last pic. I had not try this in real time but will soon do.
Chanel - Cream Blush - 64 Inspiration
I have heard the goods of Chanel cream blush last year I believe and been a crazy fan since. I luv the creaminess of the product and is the best pink for me! It use to be my staple item until I try a more neutral and subtle look. This is a must have item! the texture is like a cream when you rub your fngers to it, and glides on to your skin like powder. It is amazing. I did had a second though to get a second colour but I think I stopped myself some how. The swatch is the second on last pic.
Nars - Pierre Hardy- Boys Don't Cry
Okay is a Nars x Pierre Hardy limited edition - who could resist? I alwyas get their limited edition crossing range with designers/artist and I luv this one. I had managed to bring it back to sunlight because is Summer! It is more of an orange pink tone with gold glimmer. The way they pressed into the compact is very beautiful. I had been using this throughout June already! The swatch is the last one in the last pic.
My initial thought on blush, I always believe one is enough, and somehow I got sold into all these and I don't know why. I luv collecting them now!
I hope you like this blog piece, my beloved blush collection. If you had not entered the #giveawayatisutave competition, please check out my facebook for more!
