It is time of the week for a beauty post, I think I had briefly mention about this Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hr full coverage foundation in my last haul post and so here is the full review of this foundation.
So I have managed to take shots including the swatches, the front, the back of the product and how it looks on my face at the end of the day.
In terms of the shade, I got this along with a pack from Sephora so it is only a 25ml product. A little product would manage to do the job for my face. It is a thick creamy foundation which I only use my fingers to glide it on. It does not create a flaky skin since I got dry patches on my face and it is very easy to get dry skin off while applying other foundations. Once you got the full face covered, you do not feel too think of product on your face, just a minimal veil. I like to pair with my usual sunscreen or the Hourglass Veil Primer for more important occasions. If necessary for the day I would add a little loose powder on the T-zone, most days can do without.
This foundation is really long wearing, it does not smudge or fades at the end of the day at all. It seems the longer it sits the better it looks.
I would certainly recommend this product. It complies with my latest good product list with no parabens no triclosans - these are the goodies for the skin. I am saving this for good occasions really given is only 25mL, I would definitely buy the full size next round where I could better pick the shade with more selections. The best of all it comes with SPF 15.
For those who haven't tried Tarte - I would certainly suggest you should! This foundation and its mineral powder are my best friends!
