So I hope you had a great weekend plust some may having a long weekend Sydney. I thought with all the mumbo jumbo on healthy diet etc, I think I would give you all a weekly update on what I have done to change my diet....well as much as I can. You may have already seen these pics already as I do update my instagram daily.
I have been trying to get a more fruity breakfast, I luv my blueberries & strawberries with almond milk. I do try to have it twice a week given I am a bit lazy on grocery shopping. If I run out on the berries, I would opt for grain mix with glutten free oats, flaxi seeds and nuts! I have heard a lot about almond milk and had try the sweetened ones and the unsweetened ones. So I try to stick to the unsweetened ones just to stay on the healthy side, they do run out of stock pretty fast at my local supermarket - so my alternative was an almond, cashew and hazelnut milk - of cos unsweetened. This would be the two milk I would go to. While I had try my best on just milk + fruit or milk + grain diet - I do feel I am more alert and energetic during the day. I use to think having just an orange in the morning won't keep me alive but I think it would work.
Next is something I am starting this week, fruity water. I have heard a lot of ppl mixing water with berries, oranges, any sort of fruit you could think of.....and had not really try mixing berries given I would most likely eat the fruit before I could simmer in a water jar. What I am trying this week is lemon water, I have half a lemon in luke warm water - I have read somewhere that this would make the water alkaline instead of acidic which is bad for the stomach. Most of all, it is great for detoxing the kidney and I am hoping it would work its whitening magic as well.
Omega 3 - I am trying as much as I can to have more fish this month and have been I guess having it once or twice each week.........so I guess I am still pretty much on work in progress stage to perfecting my diet. I will surely keep you updated on the progress ladies!
