My whitening routine - Kiehl's
June 4, 2014

Following my last healthy sharing, I hope you all will be more alert to what you eat and what you use. There are always chemical products that we do not see but are harmful to our daily diet. Today, I want to share my whitening routine with you.
I am more a fair skin type and I find lately I had more dark spots around the cheek area. I use to have a few freckles giving I had been in the sun a lot more when I was back in Sydney. I do feel the problem is getting more serious - more spots are showing up and they are also growing darker. I have heard that spots are appearing may due to your kidney are not fuctioning too well, due to sleeping late, hormonal and improper diet and habits. Plus, dark spots appear on the skin to defend the sun damage, is like a skin immune system. Spots may also appear when you are using products with high lead or improper chemicals to our human skin.
I am not sure which theory is true but I am trying hard to have a healthy lifestyle as much as I can. If you have not noticed I have actually tried a lot of whitening products already. When I just return to Hong Kong, I was one of those people who never think there is a need to buy whitening products, I use to think is a waste of money - but now I guess because of ageing we really needs all sorts of remedies......
My dark spot problem is just a little area down the eye near the cheeks, so I really do not need products for the full face. I have tried whitening serum just for the spots and it did not work a bit......I had try whitening eye cream which does not work either since they mostly targeting people with dark eye circles....so I was at a dead end on what to try what can get rid of them.
So I thought I would give this Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution a try, I have been using this constantly day and night for almost 3 weeks, it seems the spot faded a bit - therefore I wish to share with all of you and would continue for another few weeks to see if my spots would fade out. I have also use the Deep Moisture Clarifying Cream together with this during the day. I am hoping to continue this for a few more mentral cycles so I could see if my skin are regenerating and if this solution are working in the long term.
At night, I have been trying out the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and it is good for my skin to recover during the night. I would use this after the Dark Spot Solution, without any moisturiser. I would definitely buy the full size product as it simplify my daily routine especially for night, I do have a habit of putting too much product on my face to try....and while I am on this concentrate, I have only been on a toner, dark spot solution and concentrate - and thats it! My skin is all rejuvenated in the morning, I am hoping to see my pores go more healthy with longer term use. I have only decided to dig out my sample for the concentrate after hearing so many good comments from different blogs and I believe it prevented my skin from going more oily by using moisturisers. I do previously experience an oil face in morning by using moisturisers.
Hope you all like this for the summer!
