Here we go: May Beauty Haul!
May 28, 2014

As promised, here is my beauty haul for May 2014. I think I have over splashed this month in fulfilling my wish list for 2014. I have done enough research to finally order these lovely products and have them ship over, it does cost me something extra but I think it is all worth it and I may have to stop spending for June - I think we always say that - don't we!!!! So all my packages arrived last week and I have just started to try a few of the items since we only got one face!
We will start from top right to left and down. I feel a bit guilty even grouping all the new stuff for this pic! Anywho....we shall rock n roll! I will also include the link for these products.
1. Shiseido Perfect UV Protector SPF50+
If you follow my blog or instagram, you would know this is my favourite sunblock any day. So I just decided to replenish the stock since my mom and I both use it. I had got this from the Sogo Thankful Week where it is around HKD$320 along with two sample size products. I do use it as a make up base so I usually need to test out new foundations to see if they mix well on my face.
2. Shiseido Urban Environment UV Protector Extra Mild SPF 30
This is a 20ml sample product which I think would be handy for business trips and short trips. I do admire extra mild products since I do have sensitive skin. These sample size came along with the sunscreen as mentioned earlier. As you can tell - I am a sunscreen kinda girl! Sunblock. Sunblock. Sunblock Please - rain, hail or shine!
3. Sheseido White Lucent Brightening Cleasing Foam
Another sample size product which is handy for travelling I had use this once and find the foam cleanser pretty good. I normally kept all these stalled away need my travel make up bag so I could take it with me without much "search".
Ok, this is really a difficult product to get....I had gone through lots of trouble. First it had been out of stock for very long time. Next is, I was not able to use my US credit card on LORAC website so I need to wait to see if another online shops are available - and here it is ....ultimately. The one we heard so much about. I am very much excited to try.....and starting to worry about where/how/what/why to get the next replacement if one day I ran out........do we all do this???? I really like the packaging and the colours. I will do write up once I have try them. This product goes out of stock pretty fast so if you see they are in stock, grab them.
5. Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I have to admit, after seeing all blogs, vlogs etc I had always wanted the well luved Urban Decay Naked Palette. I think I have done too much thinking process and ultimate got the latest naked 3 palette even though I thought the pink tones may suit or not suit Asian complextion but here it is! So far I had only tried a few of the colours, burnout, limit, buzz, trick and factory - I do find it very easy to use, the colours are very practical for HK office ladies. I did hear a lot of worries that the pink tones will make our eyes look swollen but so far the colours doesn't really do that to me.....and is very good when we wanna try out some nude make up especially during this hot summer. This is only my first Urban Decay palette and I do wanna collect all 3 of them but........maybe I will check this out first. The brush is great as well. If you are always in a hurry every morning - this is a must have item.
Oh so Tarte is always on my to try list. I had already show you the first "discover the amazon pack" I got earlier from Sephora on the Sephora Haul (I will link them below again). So when I saw the Mothers day offer for these beauties and I striked again and I believe this is the main trigger for the other purchases this month so I could group them all together for shipping!!!! I have to say I am really impressed with all these. I had got these so my mom could try a few items when she arrives in Hong Kong. So this lipstick are for her, it is a great colour and great bamboo packaging. I do wanna get myself one now too!!!! (regret!!!) I do admire the brand in being cruelty free, paraben free and gluten free. It should really help our health as well as our environment in miniming chemicals like parabens and gluten in our diet. I will later share with you on health issues that I read lately and I am trying hard to change my diet.
5. Tarte Beauty & The Box - envoke the smoke
I have to admit I had not open this one up because I luv the box so much! It is environmental friendly and I am sure the colours are great. I would definately get you ladies posted on this lovely eyeshadow combo. Be warn this is the third eye make product for the month....><!
6. Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation - fair-light natural
So this is one of the reasons I wanna try this because of this well discussed airbrush foundation and had been waiting for the moment to get these. One of my hesitation is to pick the right shade....online - luckily it turned out fine and suited my skintones with no flaws at all. I have to say this is a hassle free product. I am very much glad to find it is made in USA to retain its brand signature. I have been using this for 2 days and it helps to last through out the day - I never blotted and there are no excess shine.....bravo! I had not used any concealer either and coverage is quite enough for normal working days. A little product goes a long way!
7. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour Blush - Adored.
I had save these for my mom as her Nars Orgasm starts to wear out. I hope this would be a wonderful shade for her as well. Though I hope I could try it while shes staying with me here. I had try the lovely sample in the shade - dollface and so far so good. It is very much pigmented, easy to glide on my cheeks. I think I am starting to be one of those bloggers who wish to collect the whole collection - watch me.....haha.
By getting the airbrust foundation, this brush is a must have item and I am so glad it came with the Mother's day offer. It is a very soft brush with bamboo handle. I think I only dabbed for the foundation product around 3 times to get my face fully covered. For the first time, I did get myself too much on my forehead but I was able to spread the product think with this great brust - so no complains at all.
So with this much items I think I have so much toys to play now. I will get my blog posted on some of the individual products. Shiseido, I would keep stocking up my favourite sunblock. As for Tarte, I am eyeing for better offers and wills trike again soon though I feel a bit guilty - maybe I should have get more products on the last order......um.....haha well next time ladies.
