Gotta hand it over to TARTE!

    May 15, 2014

So I have been up early for a business meeting this morning.  I am not so sure if you are aware of the latest temperature in Hong Kong - its so humid, hot and sweaty.  So in forseeing my make up would turns "yuk", I have decided to go for my new family which I got from my last Sephora Haul (link)!

I have used it with my new primer from Hourglass, Veil - as its name suggest it is a really light weighted primer.  It is just like milk on my skin and I only used one pump to cover my face.  It is not thick at all, it is less weight than a sunscreen.

Then I used my Tarte Amazonian clay 12-hr full coverage foundation in Light.  This foundation is pretty thick, and only tiny squeeze amount was enough for me to buff up my face with my foundation brush from Shiseido.  If you need more coverage just make sure you get little product and buff up the required area.  I also used Nars creamy concealer for little spots here and there.  Plus a little loose powder from Nars over the T-zone - voila thats my face for today!

So as I was crawling over Central, CBD of HK this morning for meeting and then an art exhibition plus waiting for the long bus queue over lunch - to get home - my make up was still intact even I used tissue along the way for drying my sweat.  I am quite relieved in finding no traces of caking, melting of my make up.  Despite I do sweat while waiting for time to fly before my first meeting, I saw visible droplets of sweat - other than that I think Tarte is awesome at this - in particular in this hot weather.  PS. I am not a fan to retouch my make up during the day.......so lazy!

I am not so sure if you are the same as me, I find I am not able to sustain wearing a suit jacket this morning along with all the business gentlemen and women who are in also running around the CBD in business suits as me........I feel I drenched my suit this morning....do you have the same thoughts?  Share with me if you have.

Enjoy Thursday!!! One more day to go!

    xoxo isutave!
