So If you are wondering what happen to my latest order from Lili Radu, their classic wallet which arrived this week? Here it is! As you can see I have changed into the classic wallet in royal blue from my Chanel!
I got this while browsing on Boticca website and the reason I think I would need this is for business purpose. The classic wallet, they got multiple card compartments plust inner pockets for dollar notes and little personal things. Further they got a point pocket plus an iphone slot.
I hate going into meeting in a handbag, it just does not look professional as men. So my norm would be with a Rhodia notebook, blackberry for work, iphone for personal plus a little cardholder just the credentials to get in and out of the office plus an octopus card for money! This makes me look swiftly as the gentleman! However I always find I need to allocate cash and coin for taxi in my suit pocket as well and I kinda hate myself in the way why I need so much????
Anyways, so lookng at Lili Radu's designs, I thought oh this wallet would suit my needs and it seems a perfect solution for all the mess I was going through. I am happy to find that I was able to use my octous card while it is still in the wallet, the sensor was able to detect it so I do not need to pull it out and put it back in again. I had been also carrying this for the bookshops and coffee breaks so far - it is great! Plus the coin pocket for taxi change!
Another thing for my self-interest would be to notice new design and try out new things. I do luv the traditional luxury brands so much, their design, their heritage etc. But for Hong Kong, I do always find it embarrassing that I am infact using the same wallet as the person next to me on coffee queue, even though I bought it in London...........I guess I am one of those like to have my accessories defining my true self instead of just like everyone.
I am deciding what to get next from Lili Radu, you may wish to check out the makeup clutches - I think it is such a brilliant idea especially for business trips! I love calfskins and especially the extra touch of handcrafting!
