Makeup Primer - old vs new

    March 11, 2014

So I have emptied this Espoir Face Prime Moist Finish, it was so sad that I was'nt able to find another bottle in HK when I broke the pump on first use, and had been using it in a very ancient way. Anywayz its now used up......nightmare. Since I find the texture is very good for my skin and was able to cover up my pores so I do not need to use a concealer.

With the very much Korea beauty craz in HK, I have got a VDL Lumilayer Primer! It is very good similar texture to Espoir and it make your make up luminous and not so oily at the end of the day.  However I find my hands got all these sparkles after using it, a little bit like after using a brightening concentrate.  So if you tend to use a brightening concentrate (I use Nars) before primer and foundation, you can try this VDL primer so you can skip a step in your routine.  It is a very good finish with this technology by LG which layer the different shades of light to creat this luminous effect.

Hmmm...I still prefer to my Espoir but had not found any distributor in HK would like to make the delivery to me, so would use VDL in the mean time. May try their other line of primers, since they got a few.  They have opend at LCX in Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong, so Hong Kong babes can go and take a look!
